English below – Le saviez-vous? Ne reculant devant rien, le Challenge printanier s’est associé à Kegel afin de créer la nouvelle mouture du patron du tournoi. En novembre 2022, j’ai eu l’opportunité de rencontrer Kristijonas Sergejevas, spécialiste aux ventes et au développement des produits chez Kegel. Nous avons connecté sur plusieurs points, dont notre participation commune aux Championnats du monde à Munich en 2010. À la suite de cette rencontre, je lui ai demandé de créer le patron de La Classique Magnet. Puis, dernièrement, j’ai lancé une perche pour le Challenge printanier et il a accepté avec plaisir. D’ailleurs, son porte-feuille de patrons est bien imposant!
Après une vague de tests effectués au Dallo par Patrick Girard, il nous fait plaisir de vous présenter la version finale. C’est un 41 pieds avec un volume total de 29,2 ml. Le centre est généreux, le but étant de garder les quilleurs (droitiers) à droite le plus longtemps possible. En théorie, le patron devrait être stable sur une plus longue période. Nous espérons que le défi sera toujours au rendez-vous et que vous éprouverez du plaisir à jouer sur ce patron.

Did you know? The Challenge printanier has teamed up with Kegel to create the new version of the tournament pattern. In November 2022, I had the privilège to meet Kristijonas Sergejevas, Sales and Product Development Specialist at Kegel. We connected on several points, including our joint participation at the World Championships in Munich in 2010. Following that, I asked him to create the pattern for La Classique Magnet. And, recently, I reached out for the Challenge printanier and he gladly accepted. In fact, his portfolio of patterns is quite impressive!
After extensive tests carried out at the Dallo by Patrick Girard, we are pleased to present the final version. It’s a 41-foot pattern with a total volume of 29.2ml. The centre is generous, the goal being to keep the (right-handed) bowlers on the right for as long as possible. In theory, the pattern should be stable over a longer period of time. We hope that the challenge will still be there and that you will enjoy playing on this pattern.
